DAY 1 : HANOI ARRIVAL

Vietnam welcomes: after a long time on the airplane, you will reach Vietnam – the S-shaped land, where 54 different ethnic minorities inhabit. You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the city center of Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR: A THOUSAND-YEAR-OLD CITY

In the morning

  • At 08:30, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel then you start your day to discover Hanoi City.
  • Firstly, you will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, is a building to commemorate the merits of Ho Chi Minh Uncle – a great leader of Vietnam, and the surrounding sites of One Pillar Pagoda and his ancient house.
  • After 2 hours, you will go to the next site of the Temple of Literature, which is the first University of Vietnam and dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu)

In the afternoon

  • After saving energy with local lunch, you will leave for the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam.
  • It is estimated to be 2 hours at the museum then you will be transferred back to the old quarter and visit the Hoan Kiem Lake.
  • Finally, you will sit in front of Cyclo to move around the Old Quarter and experience the local life in 45 minutes before coming back your hotel.

  • Wearing formal clothes (cover your knees and shoulders) to visit some spiritual/cultural sites.
  • Museum of Ethnology will close on Monday so Hoa Lo prison will be the alternative attraction.
  • The complex of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum will not open for worshiping on Monday or Monday so you just visit the surrounding parts on those days.

DAY 3: HANOI - HA LONG: A NIGHT ON A PEACEFUL BAY

The following program for Halong bay trip belongs to V-Spirit cruise

In the morning

  • 08:00 – 08:30: You will be picked up by the shuttle bus then transferred to Halong bay with 4-hour driving.

In the afternoon

  • 12:30 – 13:00: Embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
  • 13:30 – 14:30: Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands.
  • 15:00 – 16:00: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
  • 16:00 – 17:00: Cruising to Titov island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
  • 17:00 – 17:30: Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoying beautiful seascapes on the way.
  • 17:30 – 19:00: Enjoy Sunset Party on sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set.

In the evening

DAY 4: HA LONG - HANOI - FLY TO DA NANG - HOI AN: FLAVOURS OF THE BAY

In the morning

  • 06:30 – 07:00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
  • 07:00 – 07:30: Have breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong Bay.
  • 08:30 – 09:30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Drum Cave.
  • 09:45: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
  • 10:00 – 10:30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
  • 10:30 – 11:30: While heading back to the harbour, watch the fruit carving demonstration and participate in the Cooking Class before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

In the afternoon

  • 11:45 – 12:00: Disembark the cruise and you will be transferred back to Hanoi airport for the flight to Danang city.
  • Arriving in Danang, you will be picked up by our guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 5: HOI AN WALKING TOUR - TRA QUE VILLAGE: FARMING AS THE LOCALS

In the morning

  • At 08:30, after enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you start riding your bicycle to Tra Que village (private car will be used if you cannot ride a bike).
  • You firstly will be introduced about the history of the village, the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering about the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine.
  • Then you will take a trip around the vegetable garden and will join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake.
  • Continue doing activities such as raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities before spending the rest of the morning working the land in the time honoured way.
  • After finishing all the activities, you will take a break and prepare lunch with a local family.
  • You will have lunch in a local house with many local delicacies including Tam Huu spring roll, Banh xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region.

In the afternoon

  • At around 15:00, riding back to Hoi An town and you will start discovering this World Heritage site.
  • You will be introduced with many delights of Hoi An. From expert dressmakers and tailors, who will craft a complete outfit for you in a couple of days, to a dawn photo trip along the river or from a fun visit to Hoi An Local Market then following small alleys to see the Chinese Assembly Hall, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge and Tan Ky Ancient House and the China Town in the other side of the canal, you’ll find yourself miss that one-of-a-kind port town in every single road of your ahead travel.
  • At around 17:00, the tour will come to and end and you have free time on your own later

DAY 6: HOI AN FREE AND EASY

DAY 7: HOI AN - HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR: THE DEPTHS OF THE UNDERGROUND

In the morning

  • 08:30, you will be transferred to the airport in Danang and take your flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
  • On your arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, our guide will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel and check in and have a rest (subject to the availability of room availability).
  • At noon time, you will have lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon                                          

  • After lunch, you will start the tour of dynamic City, you will visit The Reunification Palace, whose architecture is a blend of traditional ritual and modern architecture, typical of the 60s’.
  • The central Post Office is one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh. Being a mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and French influences, this building fascinates tourists by its typical colonial French features, from exterior to interior decorations.
  • The next site is Notre Dame Cathedral, which is considered the symbol of this dynamic city, is located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh and reaches a height of up to 60 meters.
  • The last destination is Ben Thanh Local market (if time allows), which is a bustling market in the daytime and a social center after sunset.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH - BEN TRE: TASTE OF MEKONG RIVER

In the morning

  • At 08.00, after enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will be met up with our guide and river then depart from Saigon for Ben Tre.
  • On arriving board a small boat to visit typical workplaces including small brick factories, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house.
  • Stop at a quiet village, take a short walk to witness local life and hop on a xe-lôi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) to reach a nice riverside restaurant for a local lunch.
  • At noon time, you will have lunch with delicious and unique local food.

In the afternoon

  • After lunch, take a short cycling tour to explore the surrounding fields before boarding a sampan for a tranquil trip along the picturesque canals.
  • Come back to the port and continue to visit Ben Tre Local Market before heading back to Saigon and return to Saigon.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI TUNNELS - FLY TO SIEM REAP: BACK TO THE WAR TIME

In the morning 

  • At 08:00, you will be met up with our guide at the lobby of the hotel after you have breakfast, then transferred to Cu Chi tunnels.
  • Cu Chi tunnels are famed for its 200-kilometre-long tunnels, an incredible underground network built by Vietcong during the Vietnam war. By visiting this site, you will have a chance to look back to the War time of Vietnam and see how we fight the invaders.
  • After spending time visiting these long tunnels, you will go to the local restaurant for lunch.

In the afternoon

  • After having lunch in a local restaurant, you will go back to Saigon and pay a visit The War Remnants Museum is a war museum at 28 Vo Van Tan, in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It contains exhibits relating to the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists.
  • Around 16:00, you will be transferred to the airport then take flight to Siem Reap at 19:25.

In the evening

  • Reach Siem Reap, our tour guide and drive will welcome you at the airport then pick up you to your hotel.

DAY 10: TEMPLE OF ANGKOR: TREASURE OF ASIA

In the morning

  • At 08:00, after breakfast at hotel, you start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area by exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King
  • Then, you visit the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.
    • Lunch will be served in a local restaurant at noon time.

In the afternoon

  • After lunch, we stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight.
  • There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

DAY 11: SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP LAKE - DEPARTURE: EXPERIENCE THE “FLOATING” CULTURE

In the morning

  • At 08:00, our guide and driver take you to Tonle Sap lake where you enjoy a boat ride. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh.
  • You will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is the same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels
    • Lunch will be served in a local restaurant at noon time.
