Hoang Su Phi is among the most untouched area of Ha Giang Province of Vietnam which is 70 kilometers from the center city. In the middle afternoon, you will arrive at Thong Nguyen and are welcomed by an experienced local guide – a commune of Hoang Su Phi district. Have a rest about 15 minutes before having a light trek. After that, you will trek to Nam Hong village within 2 hours. This is a small hamlet in the mountainside by Man Ta Pan and you will meet local people who are Red Dao ethnic minority group. Coming to Nam Hong village, you will have a great chance to discover the adventures on the road for someone who wants to ride. Day 2 Vietnam Adventure Holidays: Hike from Nam Hong to Nam Ai

After finishing the lunch, you transfer to Bac Ha town for the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. Bac Ha has many beautiful landscapes with nature and history. Along with the natural scenery bestowed as the majestic mountains, rivers and caves, gentle hospitable people. Local ethnic groups have one gathering per week for bartering and for socializing. Going for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, this village is home to flower H’mong minority. You are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them…

Day 5 Vietnam Adventure Holidays: Visit Bac Ha market and Sapa town

If you want to have more experience in Vietnam adventure holidays, you should hire a motorbike to come to the Bac Ha market. Bac Ha Market is the most famous and biggest market of Sapa where you can buy several products, such as handicrafts, traditional costumes, and food. Local people leave home early in the morning and travel to the market on foot or by horse. Therefore, coming here you will meet many ethnic groups like Flower Hmong (Red Hmong), Black Dao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La and other minority groups who come from far. They visit the market to buy, sell a wide variety of goods and livestock and to exchange news and to renew friendships. The most interesting time to visit the market is from 8 a.m to 10 a.m. You start going back Sapa town by 11 a.m. And you should take a time to wander around the market, enjoy the atmosphere and have fun with the friendly local people.

Then, you come back to Sapa town to continue the trip in Vietnam adventure holidays with the stone church. Sapa Stone Church is situated in the central position; the back side of the church relies on Ham Rong Mountain and its front side overlooks the lowland. It is said that the direction of the church is the east, the direction of the sunrise. The Church was made from the shaped stones in combination with a mixture of sand, lime, and molasses even from the smallest details; that makes the church becomes more special. Moreover, it is also the main place for keeping many cultural traditional activities of the ethnic people in there. You can visit the church of Sapa where holds many traditional cultural activities of ethnic minorities. In the front of the church is tennis area which has unique cultural activities of local people on Saturday. With flute, trumpet leaves, “xòe” dance… created sparkling, magical atmosphere in Sapa. You can experience them with local people. There is a good handful of shops which sell trekking clothes. Sapa town also has a good selection of the international restaurants, café, and street foods.

Day 6 Vietnam Adventure Holidays: Trek Cat Cat village, relax massages and goodbye Sapa

Starting the sixth day with trekking to Cat Cat village where is the old village of ethnic groups which attracts many tourists from many countries for its distinctive customs and practices kept from a long time. Cat Cat village is located in a beautiful valley, which is also the old village of ethnic groups. And then it attracts foreigners for its distinctive customs and practices which have been lost in almost ethnic villages. This is a village of Black H’mong people where you can discover many interesting facts about their daily life as well as culture and architecture. Moreover, you can enjoy the body and foot massage with a soothing herbal medicine. Even experienced trekkers enjoy the moment that they take off their hiking boots; better still if there is the chance of a foot massage.

In the afternoon, you have a free time to walk around the town. You can enjoy more the traditional foods in Sapa. There are a lot of foods like Thang Co, Salmon Sour Hotpot, Bamboo Sticky Rice (Com Lam), Brook fish and so on.

17:00 p.m: Finishing the trip in Northern area, and you will come back to Hanoi city.
